Poland is a country in Central Europe. It borders with Germany, Czech and Slovak Republics, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania and Russia. Poland began a new era after the fall of communism in 1989.
The political transformation into a parliamentary democracy and the steady economic growth for over two decades contributed to the rapid development of the country which has changed its face.

In consequence in 2004 Poland joined the EU and today is one of the rapidly growing economies of its region.
